BORN IN A PANDEMIC

Cast your mind back to February 2020 – life was normal, we could go to the pub, hug our friends and family and no one could possibly have imagined what lay ahead.

Just as stories of COVID-19 were beginning to emerge from China and around the world – OPS-BOX was born – created as the brainchild of Directors, Hayley Parker and Richard Neale – who between them bring 50 plus years of collective experience in planning, operations, team building and finance.

OPS-BOX grew from a belief that businesses of all sizes – not just the very big ones – should have access to the expert guidance and practical support that can drive sustainable growth. As the UK entered a national lockdown on 23rd March, that practical support and guidance was going to be more important than ever before.

As OPS-BOX launched their offering to the world, businesses were forced to close their doors or shift their operations online in order to survive. Not the ideal time to launch a business you might think – however, Hayley and Richard dedicated their time to helping businesses tackle the challenges and issues being faced and navigate the myriad of government funding and support available.

More than anything else, they offered businesses something they perhaps needed more than anything – a sounding board, guidance and some comfort they were not alone. With Hayley and Richard ensconced in their respective home offices – with only kids, dogs and spouses for company and just video conferencing to communicate with each other – they began to build the work and support that they were carrying out for businesses across the county.

OPS-BOX are now working with clients across a variety of sizes and sectors, helping them to develop realistic and actionable plans for growth and even more importantly to operationalise and finance them.  

As businesses tackle the renewed challenge of a third lockdown and try to navigate the crisis - not just to survive, but to position themselves for future growth, OPS-BOX have been an invaluable partner to many businesses across the county and beyond.
