AWARD WIN FOR OPS-BOX CLIENT

We are delighted to announce that our client, Stratos Engineering, have won ‘Best Engineering Company of the Year in Central England 2020/2021’ in the Corporate LiveWire Prestige Awards.

The awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months.

Stratos Engineering are based in Gloucestershire and have over 100 years’ experience manufacturing quality machined plastic components in the UK. The firm utilised their considerable technical expertise during the global pandemic and joined the Ventilator Challenge UK - a consortium of industrial, technology and engineering businesses from across the aerospace, automotive and medical sectors who came together to produce medical ventilators for the UK.

OPS-BOX have been working with Stratos since the start of the pandemic, guiding the directors and helping with an application for CBILS Government backed funding. We were successful in securing funding, which enabled the company to deliver on the requirements of the Ventilator Challenge and continue to trade and expand through the worst of the pandemic.

We have gone on to provide a full ‘Business Partner’ support service to the directors, offering a sounding board and advice to assist them with their ongoing growth and operational requirements. At a time of considerable flux, we have provided an unbiased view and perspective, along with the structure and guidance needed to navigate the uncharted waters ahead.
